One of the reasons that you are probably a supporter of the Alliance for the Wild Rockies is you care about wolves. But wolves are in trouble!
The goal of the wolf “management plans” is to exterminate wolves from the Northern Rockies once and for all. They think the only good wolf is a dead wolf — which is why we filed a lawsuit last April to relist wolves as threatened under the Endangered Species Act.
Our attorneys have told us that we need to hire a scientist to be our expert witness to counter false claims of states of Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming.
Will you join other supporters of the Alliance in donating to hire this scientist?
Dr. Bridgett vonHoldt is an assistant professor of Evolutionary Genomics and Epigenetic at Princeton. She has agreed to be our expert witness. The best experts are expensive and our attorneys think that winning our case depends on Dr. vonHoldt’s testimony.
The wolf slaughter is out of control with bounties, shoot-on-sight, traps, snares, night scopes, and aerial gunning. They’re even running them down with snowmobiles in Wyoming, which has brought the issue to international attention.
Wolf hunters are standing on the border of Yellowstone National Park luring wolves into Montana. As soon as they step one paw into Montana, they are shot or trapped.
It is going to take all of us pitching in to save wolves.
Thank you for caring.
Sincerely yours,
Mike
